About Pearly Snaps
Steph "Pearly" Jenkins and Rosie "Snap" Newton are an old-time fiddle/banjo duo who play upbeat tunes and sweet, sad songs. They met in high school and together became enthralled with Appalachian fiddle tunes and traditional country music. Since they moved to Ithaca in 2006, they immersed themselves in the local old-time music scene, and began traveling around playing in festivals.
